Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25 (emphasis mine) I thank God for all the moms that have met and prayed with me in a Moms In Touch group (now Moms in Prayer) over the last twelve years. There have been many. Each one of them has been an encouragement to me, and I thank God that He has used me as an encouragement in their lives as well. Praying with other moms encourages me in many ways. I grow in my own personal prayer life. I am uplifted when I hear another mom guided by God’s spirit pray a heartfelt prayer for my child. Best of all, my faith grows as I see God working in my children’s lives. So I urge you, with the writer of Hebrews, to continue meeting together—and praying. If you are not praying with a Moms in Prayer group, I invite you to join us and experience that sweet spirit of encouragement. Joy Moreau is the North Carolina State Coordinator. God has blessed her and husband, Joe, with three sons, now all young adults. She counts it a joy to pray for them with moms in her hometown of Concord. Besides working out at the Y in water exercise class, Joy also enjoys riding jet skis with her husband. They live near Concord Mills Mall.
