Testimonies God Is Using MITI to Change the Lives of Prisoners Going into the women’s prisons and helping facilitate Moms In Touch groups gives us an amazing opportunity to offer these women the encouragement and comfort of praying for their children. Inmates in other prisons are now writing to us asking how to start Moms In Touch prayer groups! Currently, MITI prison ministry is active in 32 states and we are hearing incredible testimonies from all over the United States.   Southwest Regina, a mom who was formerly incarcerated, is now speaking to groups about the impact of prayer in prisons. An inmate in this region had been attending a Moms In Touch prayer group regularly. When she was released, she told the MITI facilitator, "Moms In Touch has changed my life, and I know that I will be a better mother and grandmother. I will never stop praying for my children." Two other inmates from her hometown will be released this summer, and they are already planning to pray together!  Northwest A MITI leader in this area has ministered to the women at the prison for 10 years. "This has been one of the richest ministries in my life, as I witnessed very special times of growth in the Word and prayer with the women, even as I prepared for our gatherings. I know God has met the needs of countless women here because prayer has touched their hearts and spirits as they have grown closer to God, with one another and ultimately with their children." One of the inmates who is now out of prison is starting a MITI group! Central The hearts of women at a local prison praised God for His tenderness toward those who feel forgotten, abandoned and lost. In a northern area prison, a mom with three children who is going to a half way house, has come to the Lord through Moms In Touch and there is fruit showing of her desire to change, grow and learn.  Southeast Twenty women attend the Moms In Touch group at this prison and they are covering 60 kids in prayer! God has given them a place of power on their knees for their children.  Northeast The Moms In Touch prison ministry team is praising God because there are less women incarcerated in this area now than there used to be! The state is moving the women from a larger facility to a smaller one where they already have a prayer group. In the county jail, four MITI moms volunteered to start a group. At their first prayer meeting, two inmates attended, but by the second week, 13 moms had joined them!  Please pray for the Lord to bless the Moms In Touch prison ministry as we share the hope of God and the peace of praying over your children with moms in prison. Matthew 18:11-13: "For the Son of man came to save that which was lost. What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray and gets lost, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountain and go in search of the one that is lost? And if it should be that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not get lost."
