How has Moms in Prayer changed my life?
I became involved in Moms in Prayer after listening to a Focus on the Family broadcast 24 years ago when I was fairly new in my faith. I didn’t fully understand everything God was showing me at the time, but I knew I needed help to look after those God had entrusted me with.
I was like a sponge taking in all that God was offering me. What better way to get to know someone than to have a conversation with HIM on a regular basis along with other moms who felt like I did. I believe I became a better mom through this ministry and I grew to know the God who created my family for a purpose, one that I didn’t always have to understand! I just knew that HE was in control.
Even today, after all these years, my kids need my prayers more than ever. With Jesus’ help, I’m learning to allow HIM the privilege of looking after them because HE does a much better job than I am capable of.
I have had many roles in this ministry for the past 22 yrs as a Leader, Contact Person, Area Coordinator, and Regional Coordinator for South West Ontario and now as the Provincial Coordinator for Ontario.
Our Moms in Prayer Ontario team’s primary goal is to encourage the women of Ontario to come together to pray. Please pray for God's provision as we reach out to the many women who contact us via the website and that HE will speak to the hearts of moms who are looking for a place to turn for the needs of their children and grandchildren.
Dear women, if you feel like you are “at the end of your rope,” there is nothing better than to come to a Moms in Prayer hour knowing that there are other moms like you who are in the same place, learning to let go and let God do HIS work!
Learning to trust in Jesus and HIS power,
Dianne
