Moms started gathering to pray for their children and schools in Bangladesh two years ago at their first Arise! Cry Out! event. After that service at the local church, moms noticed the sweetness of coming together to thank God and ask Him to watch over their children. But what made this time even more special, was the opportunity to pray for the precious children at the preschool. Their parents work long hours to provide for their families and many times the children are left without schooling or care.

Samson and Tuly hosted Arise! Cry Out! at their church. Tuly is a Moms in Prayer leader and also a teacher at a school for children who are hearing impaired. Her husband Samson started the CFirst preschool (CFirst meaning Christ first, Child first) for garment workers’ children and also for destitute kids who needed a good start to their education, providing them with teachers who care deeply for these precious children. What better way to show they care than to also pray for them.
As moms gathered to pray, their fellowship became sweeter and other moms started joining them. On Easter, they fasted and prayed for three hours. Many answers to prayer were shared and God continued building their faith. As the Moms in Prayer Field Department prayed for a leader to travel to Bangladesh and train the women in person, God answered by sending Teresa, a leader from Kentucky, to Dhaka for a Moms in Prayer training event.
As Teresa came upon the building where the training event was about to take place, she could hear the women singing praises to God. The beautiful music echoed through the streets. With the help of an interpreter, Teresa trained the women in the Four Steps of Prayer and encouraged and prayed for them. One of God's special blessings for her was meeting with Samson, Tuly and their family and also discovering that they had a mutual friend who belonged to the same church in Dhaka! The friend was so kind as to translate one of the prayer sheets into Bengali so the women could follow along easily.
After the training event, Teresa was able to sit with the women and enjoy a meal together. One woman told her, "Whatever I have to go through, it's worth it for the Lord." Other moms shared about miraculous healings as a result of their prayers.
Following Teresa's visit, the Moms in Prayer leaders in Dhaka gathered the women together once again to review the Four Steps of Prayer. They also decided to travel to another area of Bangladesh and train the women where a new group is starting.
Please pray for protection for the leaders, group members and their families. We are also asking God to provide for these families, to help the key leaders as they train new groups and to develop a ministry Booklet in the Bengali language.
But Jesus called for them, saying, “Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Luke 18:16 NASB
