 On November 14, 2009, women gathered in La Ceiba, Honduras to cry out to the Lord for their children. La Ceiba is a port city located on the northern coast and the third largest city in the country. Seventeen moms met at Iglesia El Faro de las Asambleas de Dios with the awareness of the need to pray for the children of Honduras. As one of the facilitators observed, “If we don’t pray for our children, then who will?” During intercession, many of the women lifted up their youth who are facing great temptations such as drug consumption and smuggling. God moved on the hearts of these moms as the entire group decided to meet at the church for the weekly MITI hour from this point on.
