Over 800 Arise and Cry Out in El Salvador! By Ana Gilda Lopez de Perla El Salvador Country Coordinator

Central Region: Held at Auditorio Cristiano Jesús Es El Señor In the central region of El Salvador, 340 women praised God, cried tears during confession, exhibited grateful hearts in giving thanks and called out to the Lord for their kids and schools. Many of the women who attended are raising children in slum areas, and their kids have joined youth gangs. Arise! Cry Out! gave them hope and taught them to cry out for their children who are literally dying in the streets. During confession, they asked a woman to represent moms as she confessed the sins that moms had committed against their children and a young man to represent youth as he confessed the sins that youth commit against their parents. It was beautiful to hear this young man asking the moms for forgiveness for the times their children had treated them disrespectfully. The highlight came at the end of the prayer time as moms declared blessings for all their descendants, those alive and those that are to come. The MITI El Salvador Central team has already received many calls from women interested in starting their own prayer groups! Western Region: Held at Iglesia Oasis de Gracia The Spirit of the Lord was with the western region group from beginning to end. They started with the Four Steps of Prayer and expressed gratitude to the Lord for twenty five years of MITI ministry worldwide and ten years of God's faithfulness to MITI in El Salvador! Most of the 385 attendees were new to Moms In Touch, however, their hearts were softened by the Holy Spirit and they were brokenhearted when they realized the great need to pray for their children. The confession time was powerful as many women cried and asked God for forgiveness. While praying through intercession, God strongly united moms as prodigals were lifted up. The conference ended with great encouragement as three women from different churches approached the facilitator and invited her to share Moms In Touch with their congregations! Eastern Region: Held at Colegio Tecnologico Cristiano The women here were amazed at how the Holy Spirit invaded every heart at the site. The 91 attendees were able to go in depth with the Four Steps of Prayer and left very excited to start their own groups. Ciudad Delgado: Held at Iglesia Elim of Paleca The pastor of Iglesia Elim of Paleca wrote to the MITI El Salvador team asking if he could hold the Arise! Cry Out! event at his small church. The team sent him the Arise! Cry Out! prayer sheet and trained him in the Moms In Touch format. On November 16, the pastor happily reported that the prayer time was wonderful as fifty women cried out to the Lord for the lives of their children. The MITI event demonstrates God's compassion upon this church that is located in a slum area where crimes including rape and shootings are commonplace in people's daily lives. God truly loves and cares for his children.
