 My name is Mihaela, and I have been a part of Moms In Touch Romania since 2007. I also helped translate the MITI booklet into the Romanian language. I am so happy to write to you about Arise! Cry Out! in Romania. God still does great things in our generation because He remains the same: He is God Almighty! Our event was held in the capital city of Bucuresti, or Bucharest, in southeastern Romania. There was also another Moms In Touch group that participated in ACO in Hunedoara, a city in the Transylvania region of central Romania. Lili Stancu helped to organize this event.
A few months ago, I didn't think it would be possible to celebrate Arise! Cry Out! together with moms here and with women around the world. I registered online with help from MITI headquarters and was also encouraged from a Moms In Touch friend who visited me in August in Bucharest. The links to many documents and publicity on the Moms In Touch website was also a big help to me. Although I registered, I was still not convinced that I could handle the large responsibility of coordinating this event. Step by step with help from the Lord and from European Coordinator Christina Büchi from Switzerland and other sisters in Christ who prayed for me, I was able to organize this day of prayer. During one of our conversations, I confessed to Christina that I knew in my heart I should trust God that ACO would turn out well, but I wasn't seeing any evidence of this. Then, in a moment, God spoke into my heart and I heard His assurance: It will be great.
 On Saturday of the event, I went in early to prepare everything and proof the DVD. About a half hour prior to starting, I prayed that God would help many women get there safely since the location was not easy to find. Fifteen minutes before we started the event, I noticed only five women in the audience. I worried about the attendance but then remembered I had prayed. Once the program began, several other women walked in. Toward the end of the event, I counted 30 women praying! This was a great miracle of God to me and also evidence that He had truly spoken to my heart about Arise! Cry Out! He kept His promise! As the Moms In Touch Country Coordinators around the world shouted, "Worthy is the Lamb!" He does great and marvelous things! |
