Two ministries serving one another

Dear MITI Moms,

I am very grateful for the over 440 MITI women who served in the Women of Faith prayer room during the 2006 conference season. We received many reports of  the blessings received by those who volunteered. Through much prayer and consideration,  MITI has committed to provide volunteers for the 2007 conferences.

Should you choose to volunteer in a conference prayer room, you’ll be able to attend much of the conference. You’ll discover they are packed with awesome music, motivating speakers, and just plain fun! By serving in the prayer room, you may be in for an even greater blessing. Here is feedback from some who have served in prayer.

¨       Initially, I agreed [to serve in the prayer room] since I was already going to be there and felt like I should. Boy, did God have additional plans. I came home with a renewed sense of prayer, what it means in my life, and how God uses it to help others. What a bonus! This is a great opportunity for all Moms In Touch groups.

¨       Thank you! I did not know the other moms before, but now we share a very special bond. While we "gave" our time, we actually received more. God worked through us as we had prayed for Him to do, but He also worked within us.

¨        We prayed that we would be matched up with just the right person. God brought a woman with an eating disorder to a praying mom who has a special interest in nutrition. He brought a somewhat unlovable mom to a lady who was filled with God-given compassion. He matched the mom with a daughter headed down the wrong path with a mom who had been down the wrong path. What a glorious Father we have!

When you call 888-49-FAITH to register for the conference, mention code MITWOF and $10 will go to support MITI’s ministry. Remember, praying in the Women of Faith prayer room is completely optional. I am deeply grateful for your commitment to pray weekly in your MITI hour.

We will never know this side of heaven all God will do when we serve Women of Faith through prayer. What we do know is that at every Women of Faith conference thousands of women will receive information about the life-changing value of praying for their children. And if even one child is saved, that’s worth everything.

Working together in the body,
