Do you know a mom who is afraid to pray out loud? So
was Sally Burke, the MITI Field Ministry Director, when she
started in Moms In Touch International.
video testimony. An elementary mom shares on our
MITI blog how she was
fearful to pray out loud at first, too.

‘See, I am doing
a new thing!’
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I
am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive
it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the
wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19 |

God is truly doing a “new thing” at Moms In Touch
International, and we are excited
how God is “making a way” for us as we head toward 2012!
Please join us in prayer as we prepare all the details to
share with you in January. You won't want to miss this New
Year's announcement, and neither will your MITI friends!
Encourage them to
register online, so
they can hear the news first hand in early 2012!

What a joy
to read the notes groups send with
RICE donations.
“Here is a donation from our ‘Cup of RICE’ collection at one of our
high school and one of our college groups. We will
continue to keep the “cup” out at our prayer
groups,” writes one leader.
Another shared, “We don’t have
a
very large group and only one has kids in school.
The others are grandmas and a former teacher. But
they caught the vision and gave to RICE.”
Would your group like to help MITI encourage and equip moms in 130+
countries to pray life-transforming prayers for
their children and schools?

Quick and
Easy Quiche for MITI Leader’s Luncheon
From MITI’s
Recipes with a Mom’s Touch
cookbook |
2 10-inch
frozen pie crusts
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
1 cup milk
4 eggs beaten
½ cup favorite cheese, grated
½ cup favorite meat, chopped, bite-size
½ cup favorite vegetable, bite-size
Bake pie crusts according to direction on package. In a 2-quart
sauce pan, heat cream cheese and milk, slowly stirring
constantly until it forms a creamy sauce. Gradually add
cream cheese to eggs, mixing until well blended.
Once pie crusts are done, place favorite cheese, meat and veggies
in pie crust. (Suggestions: chicken, broccoli and
cheddar; ham, mushrooms and Swiss; spinach and Swiss,
with no meat).
Pour sauce in pie crust until it covers other ingredients, making
sure liquid mixture is throughout all ingredients.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until golden
brown and set. Optional: garnish with more cheese before
taking from the oven.
