His answers to
prayer represent a broad range of challenges
overcome and victories celebrated—academic
struggles turned into success stories; social
challenges smoothed; drug problems uncovered and
dealt with; new levels of parental support and
improved student behavior noticed by teachers.
One mom writes, “I
found a Moms In Touch group right away when we
moved to Illinois. It was my lifeline! We have
seen amazing things—hardened school staff have
become Christians; an avowed atheist teenager
gave his life to Christ; a pornographic book was
removed from the school; and my husband was
elected to the school board.” What powerful
answers these are to our ongoing prayers for
teachers and students that they will be directed
by high moral standards.
As you begin praying
this year in your Moms In Touch groups, come
with great expectation. God is up to all our
challenges! He is able to change students, staff
or circumstances—in our children’s lives and in
our schools.
