Fast and Pray for Arise! Cry Out!
August 10-12

Do you sense a battle is going on as we prepare to Arise and Cry Out? We sure do, which is why we are asking you to join us as we pray and fast more intentionally in these days leading up to our October and November events.

Satan does not want us uniting in prayer, because he knows he will be defeated. This is not the time to become weary or get discouraged or complacent. We need to step up our prayers! Jesus has already won the battle. He is victorious. He rules and reigns in righteousness.

Will you join us, as God leads you, in a three-day fast starting August 10? The Lord may also lead you to join others who will be fasting for another 22 days, totaling 25 days ending on September 3.

Fasting can be done in a variety of ways: abstaining from food completely; replacing food with nutritious drinks, or giving up certain foods, such as sugar or caffeine. For those who will be fasting for the additional 22 days, we suggest asking God what He would have you abstain from during this time, such as sodas, fast food, television, etc.

Fasting thoughts from the book, Keeping the Secrets of Jesus, by David and Denise Glenn:

•  Fasting is an act of worship and spiritual discipline.

·   •  Fasting is self-denial that opens one to God and to the spiritual aspects of life.

·    •  Fasting is a way to consecrate yourself to God. Setting aside a specific time to dedicate yourself and your attention to Him and to pray for His purposes to come to earth.

May the Lord be so precious to you as you take this time to be alone with Him, or gather with others seeking God and glorifying His Holy Name, as well as coming before the throne of grace boldly praying specifically for Arise! Cry Out!

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:12-13

Prayer Prompts

·   That 3,500 will attend the Live Event October 9 and 10 at the Rock Church in San Diego

·   For Host Sites in at least 500 locations in the USA, several in every state

·   For at least one Host Site in each of the 132 countries which have Moms In Touch groups

·   That God will prepare the women’s hearts to have an encounter with God

·   For deep conviction of sin, that there will be weeping and mourning, that captives will be set free and that forgiveness will be realized

·   That the Lord will pour out a spirit of faith and fervent expectant prayer

·   That by His grace there will be a powerful, special presence of God during Arise! Cry Out!

·   That obstacles will be overcome by the power of Jesus Christ

·   That cycles of resentment, revenge and racism will be broken

·   That God will open spiritual eyes to see that united prayer brings powerful results

·   For Pastors’ wives, women’s ministry directors, teachers/staff to come and bring many with them

·   For every second of the four hours to be anointed

·   That the atmosphere at each site will be Spirit-filled and joyous

·   For our hearts to overflow with Christ’s magnificent love and that He will be honored openly during Arise! Cry Out!, worshipped extravagantly and glorified globally

·   That Arise! Cry Out! will result in the revived church advancing God’s Kingdom throughout the whole earth.

·   That MITI groups will flourish, that moms will flock to them.
