God the Great Healer By a MITI mom As my ninth-grade son rode his bike to the school bus one morning, car headlights blinded him and he hit a curb, falling and injuring his wrist.  Sadly, it was just two weeks before his first race with his crew team and three weeks before he would join the drum corps for the Veteran's Day parade. He didn’t want to even think about the possibility of having a broken wrist. In fact, he tried to hide his bleeding hand while he was at school, but soon was sent to the nurse’s office. That day I was hosting Moms In Touch for my daughter’s school, and when these wonderful prayer warriors came, they prayed fervently for complete healing for my son’s wrist. I also called the moms from the MITI group I pray with for my son’s school and asked them to pray for God's mighty healing hand.  At the doctors, the x-ray showed a very serious break right at the growth plate. I assured my son there were many moms praying that he would be healed and not to worry. Three hours later we met with the orthopedic surgeon. After looking at the x-ray, he examined my son's wrist, gradually twisting and bending it. He sat back and said "Well I can't tell you what is on the x-ray, but this wrist is not broken, just bruised." Two weeks later, my son rowed with his team and won a gold medal! God is so faithful and loving.  Nothing is too insignificant for Him. He delights in answering our prayers! Dear Lord, thank you for faithfully hearing and answering our prayers!
