To our dear partners in prayer,
We all love to hear of God’s “big” miracles, but as moms we know that the “little” day-to-day changes we see in our children and in our schools are also miraculous. God continues to work in this ministry in big and little ways through your prayers.
Area Coordinators: God raised up new Area Coordinators in Alabama, Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oregon, Washington and the very first AC’s for New Mexico and Wyoming. Thank you for praying for these women who provide invaluable leadership. As a direct result of their labors, more children and more schools are covered in prayer.
Passing the Baton: Hundreds of groups will continue next fall because leaders “graduating” or moving to new locations successfully passed the baton to new leaders. Thank you for covering this important area in prayer. Our desire is that every Moms In Touch group that begins will continue praying until Jesus returns!
New MITI Groups: Twenty-three new groups have begun in Oregon alone. A new group started for Santa Rosa High School in Northern California. Thank you for praying specifically that God would birth new groups in Northern California’s Region 4, which includes the city of Santa Rosa!
Mother’s Day: What a perfect day to share the perfect gift for our children—our prayers. Shortly before Mother’s Day, Fern was interviewed on Moody Radio, and also on Focus on the Family’s Wednesday Weekly Webcast Your Family Live via Skype. Thank you for lifting this day to the Father that many new women would hear about Moms In Touch International.
Getaways: “Love,” “unity,” “a deep sense of God’s presence.” These were common themes repeated by attendees at leadership getaways. One State Coordinator enthused, “We came away encouraged and rarin’ to go!” Thank you for asking God to direct and bless our getaways.
Knowing that you stand with us day by day in prayer is a tremendous encouragement.
