God Spreads MITI to Moms in Uganda

God has opened doors to make the Lugandan translation of MITI booklets a reality for women in Southern Uganda. Lisa Mitchell, a praying mom from Alaska, recently visited Uganda and shared Moms In Touch with the women. As a result, she met Pastor Frank who was interested in translating the Moms In Touch International Booklet
into Lugandan.

Pictured are just some of the many women who will benefit from this translation. The first is moms in Usuk, Uganda. Betty, the pastor's wife in Usuk, translated for the women as Lisa shared about Moms In Touch. God equipped Betty to start leading her own group there.

In Nango, Uganda, 98 ladies sat on benches in an open field to learn about MITI. God bridged the gap between languages and cultures, and enabled Lisa to connect with these moms.  Twelve women stayed behind after the teaching to express their interest in leading a MITI group in their own villages. Of these twelve, a mom named Mercy, who understands and reads English, was able to converse well with Lisa.

Shortly after the trip, Mercy emailed Lisa telling her she already had 40 ladies praying with her and that many of the women were giving testimonies about the positive changes in their children! Mercy and her group expect to travel to other churches this year and are praying that God will provide transportation so they can spread MITI further in
Southern Uganda.
