MITI ("Mighty") Moms
on the Move
Women from Thirteen Countries
Attend the First Ever Moms In Touch
Conference for Central America
El Salvador.
The dream of Central America
Regional Director Olga de Tamacas
came to life in May as a thousand
women filled an auditorium at the
Convention Center in San Salvador.
Olga writes, "God poured out His
Holy Spirit among the congregation.
He allowed us to fulfill our desire
that was to exalt His Name
and to put Him at the center
of our Congress.
"In spite of all the commotion
caused by a large number of women
gathered at one place, Fern
[Nichols, Founder] and Marlae
[Gritter, Executive Vice President]
spoke with anointing and authority.
Over and over again women talked
about the sweet spirit of the
speakers, and that they said exactly
what we needed to hear. more

Women wearing
native costumes and holding

formed a beautiful
procession that flowed from
the back of the auditorium

A First for Spanish-Speaking MITI Moms in the USA!
On
Saturday May 12, nine Spanish-speaking MITI
moms from all across the USA met for the
first time via a conference call! Hosted by Gisela Schramm-Nagel, Hispanic
Liaison for Minnesota, women from
Florida, Texas, Colorado, Hawaii, and
other parts of the USA shared their
hearts for praying for their children in
their first language, Spanish. The
women were especially excited to learn
about all of the wonderful MITI
resources now available in the Spanish
language. Testimonies were shared of
amazing answers to prayer. Some of the
unique challenges facing Hispanic moms
living in the USA were voiced. Most of
all, as one woman said, even though they
aren't alone, they sometimes feel that
way, and this phone call helped them
feel connected with other moms in a
special way. The women expressed their
desire to have another conference call in the future, and they shared
their email addresses in order to stay
in touch with each other.
Special thanks to Gisela for so
graciously hosting the call and making
this opportunity possible for our
Spanish-speaking sisters. |
We are grateful
for the gifts that make trips like
this possible
