Starting off strong

"Never underestimate the power that comes when a parent pleads with God on behalf of a child. ... Praying for our children is a noble task. If what we are doing, in this fast-paced society, is taking us away from prayer time for our children, we're doing too much."
Max Lucado from Grace for the Moment and Walking With the Savior

Knowing that fall can be a hectic time for moms, we asked Karen Isenhower, our Southwest Regional Director, to offer some time-saving suggestions for MITI leaders and co-leaders.
“Every fall the ladies in my MITI group are eager to meet again for prayer,” says Karen. “As the group leader, I have learned a few simple things to help us start strong."

See You at the Pole on September 24

On September 24, youths around the nation will gather at their campus flagpole to pray. See You At the Pole is a student-led annual event established in alliance with the National Network of Youth Ministries.
Please pray in your MITI group that students will gather at their campus flagpole to pray for their school, friends, family and the world. Pray for the campus youth leaders who will be encouraging your children. Pray that God will use this year’s SYATP to bring the Christian kids together on campus.

New on our website
A new feature to our online Leaders Corner will help you pray for the youth ministries working on your school campus. Click on Pray for Youth Leaders to connect with your campus youth leaders for their specific prayer requests. We thank National Network of Youth Ministries for providing us with this useful tool.

Words and Deeds

Teachers have spent weeks in preparation for students to return to school. If you're an established MITI group, why not let the teachers know they're appreciated?
Our Words and Deeds Volumes One and Two are currently out of stock; however, you can click on the image below for a fun Words and Deeds idea for September.

God, the amazing provider

We are praising God for women like you who recently donated to Moms In Touch International so “freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord” (I Chronicles 29:9). Thank you for standing firm with us as we continue in our mission to impact children and schools for Jesus Christ.
Our prayer for you is based on 2 Cor. 9:11 and 14: Your generosity to us has resulted in thanksgiving to God, and we pray for you with deep affection because of the wonderful grace of God shown through you.
With deep affection, we thank God
for you!

Graduating from MOPS
to MITI

One MITI mom shares how she "graduated" from
MOPS to MITI as her children got older. Here's an excerpt from her testimony:
"Every week I am humbled as I share my heart and concerns with another mom who then lifts up my child in prayer. This is beyond description! I have also been incredibly blessed by the friendships and encouragement that I have gained through my involvement in this ministry. As all MITI moms know, there’s no greater peace than being able to bring
our children and our schools before the
Lord. And there’s no greater joy than
being able to watch Him honor and answer those prayers!"

Have you been on our newly renovated website, www.MomsInTouch.org? If so, you might have noticed we've added a "search" function in the right upper-hand corner. Not sure where the testimonies have moved to? Type it in the "search" box. Wondering how to sign up to get e-News or where to get information on church-based groups? Just type it in. The search function will help guide you to the information you need.
