During the last school year, we urged you to
Stand Firm in your prayers for your
children. This year, MITI wants to encourage
moms to stand firm in their faith ... and then
get moving!
Power Walking
is our theme for this year. Exercise your faith.
Take that first step. Invite a new mom to join
your MITI ("mighty") group. Encourage young moms
to join or start a Moms
In Touch group for their
elementary school. 
As you walk by faith, remember God is our
strength and power.
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not
commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not
be terrified; do not be discouraged, for
the
LORD your God will
be with you wherever you go."
Do you want to help us make sure our next
generation is blanketed with prayer? To coincide
with Power Walking, we've set up a
PowerAid
site to
enable you to donate monthly to this ministry.
Just $15 a month will help us reach moms who are
thirsty to experience the power of God as,
together with other praying moms, we cast our
burdens at the feet of Jesus.

How exciting
to see students across the United States
gathering at their school flagpoles each year to
pray. On Wednesday, Sept. 26, please pray for
these Christian students that God would unite
them together as they stand in prayer for their
school.
See You At
The Pole must remain a student-led prayer
event. However, MITI moms can be supportive in
several ways:

Start praying
now that God will raise up student leaders
to organize their school SYATP.
-
Pray for
courageous Christian students to gather at
the pole as a testimony to their classmates.
-
Prayer walk
around the outside of the campus before
students arrive the morning of Sept. 26.
-
Have your MITI
group meet off-campus to pray at the same
time as the students.
-

A new school year means new backpacks, school
clothes, books, and a year's supply of

pencils.
While you prepare to send your children off
to school or college, remember to bathe them in prayer, and encourage other moms to do the
same for their own children. As the school year starts, look for moms who might not know
about MITI.
 Do you know a young mom filled with fear
about letting little Johnny into the world of
roughneck kindergarteners or bossy
second-graders? Encourage her to trade in her
fear for faith. Share with her the joy and peace
you've found through praying with other moms for
your children and their school. Help her use the
Group Locator
and encourage her to
ask a friend to meet with
her weekly to pray.
