The hearts of the
staff at Moms In Touch are filled with
thanksgiving for you wonderful moms who
diligently pray for your children, their schools
- and for us! We have been blessed at the
outpouring of prayers during the recent
wildfires which covered our area in
smoke and ash,
devastated homes and communities, and displaced
hundreds of school-age children and their
families.

Power Walking With YOU!
We are delighted
that 3,140 MITI moms took the time
to answer our recent survey. We
asked for feedback from three
groups: those who are MITI leaders;
those who recently ordered a MITI
booklet; and those who receive our enews, but are
not listed as being
in a group.
MITI moms continue
to impress us with their dedication
to the Lord, to
their families
and
to prayer. We especially appreciated
the feedback regarding our website,
which
we are in
the process of
updating, simplifying and making
more user-friendly.
Oh yes,
and we
will be giving
MomsInTouch.org a
new
look, too! We're praying that
our redesigned site will
be up and
running before spring 2008.

We continue to pray
in love and sympathy for those whose homes were
destroyed, and we grieve with them in their
loss. We are mindful at the same time to thank
God for His hand of protection. God graciously
spared MITI headquarters in Poway, California,
and the homes of each of the MITI staff members.
For our ministry
worldwide, we thank God for 1,086 new MITI
groups that began praying together this fall and
for the many faithful moms who have stepped
forward to take on new leadership roles.
We are
overjoyed to announce a matching fund grant of

thank God for the financial support of many
faithful servants. Without your generous gifts,
we would not be able to serve the 17,500 groups
around the globe.
One praying mom in California shared with
us that she was inspired by God to donate to
Mums In Touch in Australia: "A few weeks ago my
neighbor and I took our usual afternoon 'power
walk.' She is a member of a Grandmas In Touch
group, and I've been a member of my Moms In
Touch group for over six years. During these
walks we often talk about the answers to prayer
that we've witnessed, and this particular day,
God spoke to me about reaching out so that other
moms could have the opportunity to become
involved in this powerful prayer ministry too.
"After talking it over with my husband, we
decided to send a financial gift to help print
Mums In Touch booklets for ladies in Australia
(a need the ministry had shared some months
earlier). I'm excited to see what the Lord will
do with these materials in the days ahead. I
hope that many other 'mums' will be as blessed
as I have been by bringing our kids before Jesus
in prayer!"

Crust:
1
1/4
cups crushed ginger snap cookies
1 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
Mix, pat in pan. |
Filling:
1
can pumpkin
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 quart vanilla
ice cream, softened
Mix first 6
ingredients, stir in ice cream.
Pour over crust. Freeze 24 hours before
serving. |
