February is the month of love. Out of deep love
for our children, we gather each week to pray
for them. Then a surprising thing happens: we are changed. We see God working in our children's lives, and we are filled with hope and greater faith. We
rejoice each week in God's character and our love for Him deepens. It all spills over into our whole family. We benefit our kids in an unexpected way-by becoming better moms and better wives. Husbands notice. To celebrate the month of love, we thought we'd share what some MITI husbands are saying... |

I have had the most awesome,
exciting, meaningful experience seeing God
answer powerfully as Fern has faithfully
gone to her knees each and every day of our
thirty-nine years of marriage. She's the
real deal.
A
bedrock foundation of faith in God was
poured into her life by her own mom who made
sure she was in church and exposed to the
Word at every opportunity. So, when the
turbulence of the adolescent years struck
our boys, she relied on that early
foundation, going to her knees-and calling
other moms to pray with her. Together they
approached the throne of the King seeking a
hedge of protection around their children,
their teachers and their school.

Rain slicker $18 … backpack $42 … a praying mom … Priceless.
I cannot remember how far back it goes since my precious wife began a prayer group with another woman in town under the Moms In Touch umbrella to pray for our children. All I know is that, this many years forward, I have not only seen a tremendous difference in my own children, but I’ve seen the Moms In Touch movement both here in Suffolk County and in New York state grow to record numbers. read more

As a husband I
am so thankful my wife, Kay, has had the
opportunity and privilege to be involved in MITI.
It has been exciting to see her grow
spiritually. I have seen her faith and trust in
God's Word increase through the Four Steps of
Prayer. She has in turn had the opportunity to
apply His wisdom to her own life, as well as
share what she has learned with our children,
other women-and me. read

Hello Fern and
Friends,
MITI has been a
big part of my wife's life since our 29-year-old
son was in elementary school. It's been a rough
haul for us over the past ten years, with all
that has happened to our children, and it
finally overwhelmed me. I fell into a deep
depression and was just about incapacitated for
almost a year. But God was faithful,
