Throughout our twenty-two-years of ministry, churches nationwide have opened their doors to us-hosting MITI events, gatherings, and weekly group meetings. Pastors have graciously given us the platform on Sunday mornings to herald the MITI message of hope for children and schools. They have allowed us to set up booths, make announcements in bulletins, and present our videos. They even do little things like creating links to our website. 

This October during Pastor Appreciation Month we wish to acknowledge every pastor who has been invaluable to Moms In Touch International by connecting moms to pray. As Paul urged the Thessalonians, let us to show "great respect and love because of their work."

What better way to honor your pastor, who diligently serves his congregation week after week, than to pray for him?

Igniting a Passion to Pray

It is the desire of Moms In Touch to bless our churches in return, to share with them the life changing impact we have discovered by including in our prayers four elements-praise, confession, thanksgiving and intercession. One pastor wrote, "To teach people to pray is to teach them to triumph. It is impossible to mobilize people to pray if they don't believe they serve the God of the impossible-or if they don't know how to pray."

What an incredible means of "giving back," it would be to offer the Moms In Touch prayer class, Igniting a Passion to Pray, at your church! You would not only be serving your pastor, but enriching the body of believers.
